About Sexters.xyz
The Adult Chat Moderators’ and Operators’ Union is primarily the home for persons who have been employed in the online chat market. These persons, including myself, would have at some point in time worked as chat moderators from behind fake profiles housed on dating sites like iflirts.com.
No, we did not work directly for the dating sites. The entire setup is more complex than that. There are companies like Cloudworkers.com that hire persons in vast numbers to work as chat moderators. These moderators then sit at home, and log into a Cloudworker portal where several dating sites are connected. It is from this portal that chat moderators converse with the many paying clients that use these dating sites.
In reading reviews online, it is clear that many date site users are aware that all is not well in the online dating industry. Indeed, due to the poor employment conditions most chat moderators work under, several moderators from time to time, break character and reveal that they are working from behind a fake profile. I will expand on the working conditions later in my submission.
So, even though many dating site users (mainly men) are aware that the online dating industry is not completely legit, there are still many out there who don’t. Even so, just for the record, someone needs to document what really goes on in the industry. I have decided that the time is ripe for me to make my contribution to this endeavor.
As alluded to earlier, I’ve faced negative SEO from competitors who I know are part of the online dating industry cabal. We are talking about very popular dating sites/apps that utilize chat moderators to boost sales. These are dating sites with deep pockets that can afford to bury their competition to galvanize the market. Companies go into business to make money but when negative tactics are employed to stymie the progress of legitimate online sites, then a line has to be drawn in bold print!
Working as an Adult Moderator
Throughout my time on this earth, I’ve done many jobs and engaged in several endeavors. When working online became a thing, I didn't hesitate to explore my options. The thought of making money by waking up on mornings and sitting in front of my laptop with a strong cup of coffee by my side was very appealing.
So, I started to explore my options. In the beginning, I perhaps registered accounts on the majority of work-from-home sites available at the time. Of course, I also did freelance work on Fiverr. But it wasn’t until I registered to work as an adult chat moderator at Commercium Media that I found my first real full-time job.
I never thought I would enter the world of the adult industry via this route but I guess it was my calling. If you were to ask me at that time what role in the adult industry I would expect to play, I perhaps would have said my only role would be to star in a movie with Nina Hartley. I think she is the best of all time, by the way. I just think I needed to say that.
Anyway, after I completed the application process and passed the required test, I was accepted to work as an adult chat moderator for Commercium Media. My job was to send erotic and sensual messages to complete strangers who would have signed up for one dating site or the other, expecting to meet a willing female who just wanted to have some fun. My main goal was to keep these horny men sending messages because each sent message required chat credits which they had to pay for.
So, imagine there are, let's say, 5 dating sites, all linked to this one moderator platform. I would sit behind this moderator platform and respond to any messages from any of the 5 dating sites. That's basically how the operation worked, and still does even though in recent times, some companies like Chathomebase have incorporated AI into their message response system.
Messages would arrive like cars on a conveyor belt and I would be required to respond appropriately to keep this horny date seeker chatting. There were particular rules and protocols I had to follow as I kept this date seeker chatting, and of course, any violation of these rules and protocols could result in being fired.
